So what is Residual Income? Simply put it's income or benefits from work over and over and over again that you did ONE time! Residual income is income that’s yours to enjoy for the life of the product that you’re selling, or for as long as the information you have provided is used by consumers.

Examples of residual income include:

• EBooks and digital content that are written once, and then sold multiple times online
• Real estate that you own, with rents being collected on a regular basis
• Royalties from an invention that you created
• Network Marketing in which subscribers, or a customer base, continuously purchase products from you, year after year, or month after month

You may have heard the term passive income, which is similar to residual income except that passive income is money earned on extreme “auto-pilot” mode. It’s recurring income that is yours for the taking, with someone else literally doing most of the work to put that money in your wallet.

If you go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning with visions of complete freedom, actually LIVING your life instead of waiting for that one day where you’ll get to live on your own terms, passive income is a phrase that you should engrain your brain right now, and paste all over your vision board (you do have a vision board, right?)

Passive income yields the highest profits for the littlest amount of effort, and it sure beats dragging yourself to a cubicle every day.

Examples of passive income include:

• Becoming a world-famous author, and having agents and PR people promote your ingenious prose
• Buying an apartment building or commercial real estate complex, and hiring a manager to take over management duties for you
• Buying an established website that ranks well on Google, and already has hundreds of sponsors in the wings, or other businesses ready to advertise your brilliant content
• A MLM or Network Marketing Home Based Business, in which you hire effective leaders to sell the products you’ve introduced them to and to recruit other like-minded business people into the income opportunity.

You can see that residual income, and ultimately passive income, will allow you to spend most of your time letting someone else do the work that lines your pocketbook with riches, instead of the other way around.

The power of residual income lies in the premise that you are the business owner, and you are building something substantial, that will supply you with all of the financial success and stability you need to last you well into retirement and beyond.

You do want to own your own business, right? I’ll bet that want to make money and enjoy life, without all of the day-to-day “stuff” that goes along with most business opportunities.

How to Make Money Blogging

Hi, my name is Warren Little.

Since 2009, my wife Octavia and I have built a six-figure business working part-time in our spare time online.

Today we make over $8,000 per month blogging – once or twice a week – and get paid even when we decide not to work.

There are three primary ways to make money blogging:

• Sell your own products
• Sell other people’s products

If you have a local brick-and-mortar business like a pet store, chiropractic practice, or an auto body shop – it goes without saying you should have an internet marketing model in place to attract the prospects, customers and clients who no longer use the Yellow Pages (does anyone use the Yellow Pages anymore?).

But if you are like most people who get online and look for a way to make money blogging, you are going to have to decide if you want to sell your products, become an affiliate and sell other people’s products, promote your home business (think MLM or Network Marketing) or if you will sell advertising space.

The fastest, easiest way to get started is to promote other people’s products and earn a commission for each sale you generate.

That being said… let me share with you a few of the tips, tricks and inside secrets I have learned over the years… the difference that makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE between earning a few extra dollars per month and banking tens of thousands of dollars per month.

In other words, if you have a blog you can post “Google Adsense” ads on your blog and make money each and every time someone clicks on one of the ads.

This is yet another proven way to make money blogging – sell and publish ad space.

The challenge is you will not make a lot of money with Google Adsense or by selling ad space unless and until your new blog starts getting a lot of traffic. And we’re not talking about a few dozen visits per day. We are talking about hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of hits per day to make a significant income.

Why? Because you are getting paid PENNIES per click – not dollars – and that THE DIFFERENCE that makes all the difference.

Lesson up…

If you are serious about making a significant income blogging…

You should focus the majority of your time and effort promoting products and services that pay a monthly commission, a high-dollar commission or a combination of both.

After all, it takes just as much time and effort to write and promote a blog post that promotes a product that pays you $1.00 per sale as it does to promote a product that pays you $10 or more per month per sale.

Make sense?

Another thing you want to do to put the odds of success in your favor is to pick a target market first – before you set up your first blog.

Know the WHO you want to market to, research that market to determine what they are HUNGRY to buy… and then make it easy for them to buy from your affiliate link!

How To Get Started Today

The easiest way to make money blogging is to join a proven program like the one we promote that comes with a blog already installed, a number of high commission affiliate products, proven sales copy and more.

Because all you have to do is sign up, set it up and follow the instructions.

But you can also set up your own blog and start from scratch. But be prepared to spend days, weeks, even months getting your new system completely set up if you have never done it before.

Here are the steps you will want to take:

• Pick a target market
• Research the market and pick profitable products
• Find affiliate programs offering those products
• Buy a domain name (use Godaddy or Namecheap)
• Open a hosting account (BlueHost or Site5)
• Pick a premium theme (critical for SEO)
• Install a blog software program (WordPress)
• Install your theme
• Configure your new blog for SEO
• Start publishing content
• Promote your content to rank on the search engines

Of course you will also want to set up an autoresponder, any number of splash pages and learn to write killer copy that literally compels people to sit up and take action.

Get it right and you will be able to write your own 1st class ticket to success.

Get it wrong and you will waste a lot of time and money.

A Final Word of Advice

If you are brand new to the idea of making money online and want to honestly “make money blogging”… I highly suggest you start with a proven viral blogging program that pays top dollar so you can simply focus on MARKETING (which is where all the big money is made) versus all the technical mumbo/jumbo that can drive you nuts.

Once you learn the art & science of internet marketing – then if you want to venture off and do your own thing – GO FOR IT!

How to Choose the Right Network Marketing Opportunity for You?

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT MLM COMPANY FOR YOU?

If people would honestly ask and answer the 4 questions below, they could quickly eliminate 90% of the opportunities, mlm or otherwise within the market place. 

When I am looking at a business model, the main question I want answered is number two.  

Years ago I read an article in Success Magazine that said "If people WANT what your selling, you'll get Rich!"   I have never forgotten that statement, and it has been one of the foundational principals on which I evaluate any business model.   

Until that time in my career I had marketed products and service that I believed in, that people really NEEDED, but they didn't W A N T !  

 You must honestly be able to distinguish the difference for yourself!   I see too many people promoting products and services that do not have mass appeal.  There is a delicate balance, on the flip side, some people decide coffee, most of the world drinks coffee that is a great network marketing product, then you run into the challenge of brand loyalty that is talked about here.   

The same challenges can occur even in the Wellness market.   Let's face it at this point in history, most people either believe and take nutritional supplements, or they don't. If they don't the odds you are going to get them to start is not real good, if they do take supplements you may have to deal with brand loyalty.   All of these factors need to be considered when evaluating any product or business model.

In general, the trend is your friend, as long as the trend will make sense to the masses.  I know that is kind of confusing, but if you asked me to explain what I am trying to communicate in one sentence that would be it.  I want to get in front of a trend, but the trend (product or service) needs to make sense for the masses, and not a small select group of people who wouldn't be buying the product or service if there was not a comp plan attached. 

 1)  What kind of Income are your looking for?

The first thing you have to ask yourself is, What is your ultimate goal?

I have personally believed that network marketing is about "Creating Wealth" … period.   

I believe if you want to make a few hundred extra dollars a month, there are better business models.  

If your goal is to create a full-time income and fire your boss, my advice would be to THINK BIGGER.   Think Wealth Creation!

2)  What is the TRUE market potential for the product or service?

 Quite frankly, this is where many people miss it.  They get involved in products or services that they personally perceive to be cool or trendy, but they never ask themselves  does this product have a real market with people that are not going to actively participate in the business.   

Who is going to buy the product?   This is a very important question you need to ask, and honestly answer yourself.   

NOTE: The Weight Loss Industry is a Multi-Billion Dollar Industry because of cutting edge programs like this one!

3) What does it take to get my initial investment back?

People need to recoup their initial investment as quickly as possible.  If it takes enrolling more than 3 customers/members to recoup your initial investment, you need to proceed cautiously.

4) What does it take to make $1,000 a month?

If people that are willing to work can get to $1,000 a month, within 90 days or so, then leaders can create wealth.  It is all about getting people into profit as quickly as possible.   

There are many good companies, with great people involved in them, but the math simply doesn't make sense.

  As I stated previously,  If people would honestly ask and answer the 4 questions above, they could quickly eliminate 90% of the opportunities, mlm or otherwise within the market place.  

However if it is a go on the product or service and upside income potential then you need to do some research.

5) Find a Pinnacle Leader and Plug 100% into their System

In network marketing you are looking for the Pinnacle leader in that company.  If you are not familiar with the term "Pinnacle Leader" you can download a free pdf here.   

This is the team you want to work with.  Get in, and plug in, and the leaders will find you!  Yes, most people do business with those they know, like, and trust, but in network marketing, or any business model that can be a recipe for disaster!   

I only do business with those that have already done, what I am trying to accomplish.

 If you are looking at a business model outside of network marketing, then find the best teacher, and plug into whatever training they offer.   

 After you find the right team to associate with, plug 100% into their world.  

Don't miss a conference call, webinar or event, especially within your first 90 days.  

Follow the recruiting systems and direction they give you, work your business consistently, put your hand to the plow and go for it!   

The bottom line, if there systems have taught other 27%ers to be successful then you can expect be able to duplicate their success.
